Hello! I'm Caitlin, the artist and creator of all of this quirky, glamourous taxidermy!

 

Alongside my sister and daughter, this all began with a "what if" question on craft night when we decided we wanted to try our hands at taxidermy. The easiest place to start was with frozen feeder rats so we picked up a few and did a comically bad job of taxidermying them. We absolutely loved it though and were eager to do it again to grow our skills. As we improved the natural next step (according to our sense of humor) was putting our creations in provocative outfits and poses. With the encouragement of online enthusiasm for our creations I decided to take the plunge and dedicate myself to starting this as business.

These little showgirl rat's popularity grew rapidly and, what I hoped might be a fun side hustle, turned into my full time occupation. Alongside my family, we began vending with the Oddities and Curiosities Expo where we have been met with so much joy and support. The demand for these creations has been high, so, in between the O&C shows and online sales I am working, working, working to keep up and keep creating these fabulous cuties.

I am always looking to expand my horizons with new designs and have more ideas than I know what to do with for future creations.
